It's Apple Time!
I want to express my love for Honeycrisp Apples. They are super yummy, great to eat, bake with and make sauce. Apparantly they are not the easiest apple to grow and were created here in the US I believe...they are a cross between 2 apples.
I got this great book, from the J-ville flea market last year and at the time Toby was too young to enjoy it. My has my little guy grown over the past year. He loved it...but Jay could have cared less...
It had a cute story, craft idea (apple printing) and recipe for apple sauce (VERY good). Apple stamping or printing was not quite what I imagined...a lot of paint and not too many "star" prints/stamps. Toby successfully completed one star print on his arm! Jay had a lot of fun eating the red paint - luckily it is not toxic!

Before we went to Brown's to get our Honeycrisps we stopped in the library - BEST idea ever! Who knew the library has toys? Not me! Jayden LOVED the play kitchen and was in heaven for 30 minutes.
Fall is F-U-N!
Jayden loved throwing the leaves up in the air and
Toby enjoyed running and jumping in our small leaf pile!

Buzzing...
This busy bee has been going, going, going. Luckily my guys are keeping me grounded and focused on what is important. In between working and getting the house ready for the market we have managed to have fun!
Wednesday we went to Strasburg to visit Thomas the Tank Engine (a first for Jay). The boys had a lot of fun looking at and riding the train but didn't like waiting in the lines. Luckily the lines really were not too bad...unless you're a toddler!
Today we had a really fun day. We started bright and early at the Jarrettsville Flea Market where I got the last detail of Jay's halloween costume and Santa found a cute mailbox for two little guys. Toby and Jay were thrilled to find some matchbox cars and were happy to play with them in their strollers as Mom and I finished browsing. We spent most of the day at my parents and hung out with family - great grandma, aunt, cousins included! Mom and I worked on some details of Meg's shower and we had a fun hayride around the Swift's land. After we went to Andy's work and saw big tractors and equipment. Toby was so excited!
Looking forward to a fun day tomorrow at the Bel Air Arts and Crafts Festival!
